On my 18th birthday, I began one of those transient moments with my first job as a kitchen porter. My work ‘Staying Or Going’ focuses on my own experiences, the professional versus unprofessional and the people I work with. Knowing that I don’t want to stay forever has allowed me to use my camera to create a goodbye letter. Using analogue techniques with the routine of doing multiple visits a week has allowed me to capture temporary moments and delve deeper into the culture. This process has brought me closer to my coworkers, creating an appreciation for them and the workplace.
